15 cm tonight??
Hey.. just wondering if we get the 15 cm tonight.. what are the chances some trails could open up??

15 cm should be enough to at least get out and head east towards the Ganny. Wouldn't necessarily count on any grooming though. Depends kinda on what "kind" of snow it is too, that light fluffy stuff we got before wasn't the grea-*test*-('"). At least we got the cold to go along with it now though.

If we get consistant snow for the next week, and it stays cold.... The earliest you could see any trails open would be next weekend. Every trail is a little different, E108 east to the Bewdly will open first, E108 north fromt he club house to port may never officially open as there is a huge amount of water to deal with there.

Yup the E108 land (swamp) trail south of town will take some good cold weather, and a majore snow pack before it will be ridable. But there's no real worries about heading north or south to and from the lake once this cold snap locks the ice up this week, the new canal route (well away from the old boat house canal route) will be the route to take. Just make sure you know before you go, it's no more than 2 or 3 klm to walk out and check the ice along the new route before risking it.
