2008 Poker Run Pic's
Wow what an awesome day
A big big thanks to all who came out today, and helped to make it one to remember. The final count was 82 sleds (I don't know how many were two up) After paying the expensis, we managed to raise $2280 to be split between The Port Perry Hospital Foundation and the PPSC.
Congratulations to all who won some great prizes, donated by our awesome sponsors whom with out this event just wouldn't exist. Please remeber to support our sponsors who support our sport, and make great days like this possible.
Super big thanks to all PPSC members who helped make todays event a joy to do.
And another big thanks to Noones Petro Canada, Ganaraska Forest Canteen and the Long Sault Ridge Runners for validating poker cards for our run. Also big thanks to the grooming teams of the PPSC, Ganaraska SC and the Long Sault Ridge Runners ......... if there ever was an award given for best grooming, these three would finish in a tie for first place.
I have a monster load of pic's I'd like to get up, but I'm a little tuckered out right now ......... but here's a few that realy stood out to me, while down loading my cam, and Steve MoSp's SD card from his cam. I'll be sure to get more up tomorrow.
