Ganny and Back-Dec. 17th
Ken (igosnow) and myself rode to the east side of the Ganny and back today. Bill was out in the BR180 and the PPSC trails were much improved for the run back. Looked like Harry was heading out with the longsault groomer when we left Noone's. Not sure how he's going to get through the HUGE drifts at the turn just by their clubhouse, they don't have a blade on that tractor of theirs! Only a short section of the E108 on the west bound trail had been groomed in the Ganny today. With all the snow and drifts some sections were getting moguls pretty deep. The Chevy pickup stuck on E108 east of Burkton was gone when we returned. Not sure if Bill hauled him out with the groomer, but he had put a huge slash in his own back tire trying to dig out the truck and she was bottomed out on his spare. We let him borrow a Cell phone then rode on before we burst out in laughter! Justice done! The weather was perfect, and the trees loaded with snow and poor Ken kept having to rescue the same old Ski-Doo with the broken recoil!
