Groomers?
Hello everyone, I have a bit of a question- I am a student at UOIT in Oshawa and all too often last year I found myself with some time on my hands in the afternoon/evenings. Next semester I have a fairly open schedule and I was wondering if you guys are looking for any groomers? At the moment I don't have any training on a groomer, but if there is a need for an extra shift my brother has told me he would be able to train me on one of their club's machines over christmas. I'm really just looking to kill some time and help out. - Thanks

Hey Fox22, First off thanks for your interest in our club. Currently we have all our operators (including several floaters) for our grooming operations; however if you are going to be around the area in years to come then by all means give me your contact info and as current operators retire then we will be looking for new blood to replace them with. In the meantime, if you are looking to help out, and spend time with a GREAT group of snowmobile fanatics. Then I would suggest coming out and helping with things like Trail Work, Trail Patrol, Events Team, etc... I can also help you get involved in these areas as I am also the Trail Patrol Coordinator for PPSC and a member of the Events Committee. If nothing more, atleast come out to a ride with the guys. We do a bunch of midweek night ride once the season gets rolling. We usually post them here, and everyone is more than welcome to join us. Once again, Thanks for you interest in PPSC...... Thanks alot, unfortunately this is my last year of study so I don't know if I will be sticking around the area for next year. (unfortunately after seeing the kind of stunts the city of Oshawa has been pulling with the whole student housing crisis among other things, it has entirely eliminated my desire to live here) Please let me know of any upcomming trail work etc. I have been keeping an eye on the forums but havent seen anything posted lately. Ya, We are almost done with trail work this season.. Atleast until things freeze up, we have taken the last couple weeks off due to hunting. I think we have 1 day worth of work left, it will be posted when it's going to happen. Would you be interested in helping out with events during the season?
