Long Distance / Hardcore Sledders required!
Hi Guys, I am starting to plan out a few long distance, hard running trips....I am inviting all sledders who can go the distance. Abitibi Canyon? Shinning Tree? Cochrane? Quebec? No distance too great, no time frame too long... Dumpitinthepower (from HCS) and myself will be open to all suggestions. We are looking to hook up and ride with some new pals. Last year we ran a few trips but the best trip we had was with TVBrian, Chezno76 & Vetterman. I'd be interested in a trip! I have a LOT of experience in long trips in Northern Ontario, Quebec- north shore and south shore, Gaspe, New Brunswick, Maine. I've ridden from Fergus (near Kitchener) to Cochrane and back in 6 days. Last winter unloaded in Parry Sound Friday night, Saturday went to Killarney across the ice to Manitoulin Island, west on the island to Gore Bay, across the ice (30 miles) to Spanish. Next day up thru Elliot Lake to Chapleau - "F" trail is awesome!, next day over to WAWA - ran the "Magpie River" - sweet! - stayed at "Halfway Haven" that night, next day back to Spanish, next day back to Parry Sound via Lake Penage- that was Wednesday night! Back to work Thursday! Planning on going to Moosenee this year sometime in March - been to Abitibi Canyon a few times but never further. Also thinking of doing a week / 8 day tour starting in Sudbury and heading up thru Timmins (Post 392!) to Cochrane, Hearst, Dubreuiville, Hornpayne, Wawa, Halfway Haven, (great place BTW!), ice trail to Killarney and back to Sudbury if anyone interested. Got a new Apex GT and lookin to put put on more K's than last year (5,500) Johnny

Will be doing a week long trip beginning March 9 - 17 (March break) and possibly one February 17th...........
