Next Weekend's To Do List!!!
Well I'm gettin the itch now..... I have to get some stuff done on the sled this next weekend (Oct 28), Since I'm gonna be at my parents around London (where my sled is).... Here is my To Do List... Putting in 6 new grease fitting in the front suspension for better wear on moving joints Hopefully installing ArcticFX's GFX package if I get it by that time..... Thanks Jordan!! Replacing the plastic belly pan with a piece of checkerplate aluminum... Clutch tuning for a little more top end, and more "snappiness" And get it all cleaned up and ready for this season!!! I'll post a report and pics of how far I get!!!! 8)

Well the day finally came.... It was a busy weekend of sled work, and one of the goals of the weekend was to get My RAZOR graphix package from Jordan installed.... NICE WORK JORDAN. Well I guess i'll just get right to the pics, I was a little liberal with placement of them, as once i got them layed out on the sled I started moving them a round (a little) and I really like how it turned out.... I even got to add a little piece to Jordan's design.... though my little bit of razor blade work can not compare to the artsmanship of the Masterful ArcticFX...... Here they are: The (Boring) Before.... After striping off the graphics, WOW those come off easy (They found a new home on the back of the shop door)..... Notice the missing skid, gas tank, Pipe, Clutch, Act Drive & Seat: I had a few projects on the go!!! Here I am trying to make it look like I know what I am doing..... A side shot of the finished sled.... I think it looks awesome, however I will say... the pics DON'T do it justice!! Personally, I like the nose cone GFX, and the Hood Sides..... My dad liked the Arctic Cat text the best!! The nose cone graphic really sets it off as a "custom" piece.... This is my little addition to Jordan's work, I couldn't find a spot that I REALLY liked for this graphic, so then I got looking around the sled and thought maybe the dash.... But then, I looked back and saw that "flamed Act Drive Graphic" on the back of the tunnel, and I said... Well now that don't match at all, I can change that, got out the razor blade and this is the finished product!!! Just another shot of the whole sled from the other side... Well there it is, again I can't say enough, what great work Jordan does..... I love the look of it now, and no one can tell what year it is now... I also redid my tunnel protectors, Removed/ inspected & cleaned my Act Drive.... along with other pre-season stuff. A good weekend of work I think... P.S. Jordan if you want full res shots of this just let me know, I'll send you a link!! Thanks Again.....

Definately a major improvement over stock Brian, good job. Why can't these manu's come up with good looking graphics from the factory??

waitn4sno- 01-02-2007

Look's great. You were the only crossfire (other than me) I saw on Scugog last year. I will definately know it's you this year

TVBrian- 01-02-2007

Do you have an orange CF7.... If so I saw you one morning at the club house, It was the first CF I had seen on the trails all year... I only saw like 3 more all year, I think that will be alittle different this year. By the looks of things people have caught onto how good this sled is

Good call man - very nice...very nice indeed. A Classy upgrade that doesn't make your sled so customized that you affect resale down the road either - I would actually look first at that before another one. Wish there was a Hgh-5 emoticon!!

I never saw the orange one you mentioned. I too, only saw a handful all winter.... 5 to be exact, most in North Bay, with USA tags on them. I am looking forward to seeing how much "better" my CF8 (yes green again) will be this year.

TVBrian- 01-03-2007

Awww yes a CF8.... That would be my sled of choice as long as I stay here in Ontario. I love my 600, but I could see the need for an 800 in the deep or wet powder. On the trail, a well tuned 600 will do anything you need it to. Funny about that North bay, US tag thing eh.... I noticed the same thing. hmmm weird. Well I will for sure be able to spot you this year, I'll just look for the CF thats going backwards!!!! Thanks Vett, Now we just need some snow So I can see how it matchs on there.... I really like how it turned out too!! I'll try and find you highfive icon to add!!! 8)
