On the edge ,between Port and Uxbridge???
Trying to decide which club would be my home club or most usable trail access? I'am south of Durham 21 and 23. There is an iffy trail link west from port towards me? I may have to go north up Lakeridge to #47 to get on Uxbridge trail(?) then north or east depending on ride chioce :Woodville and beyond or Lake Scugog? So close but feeling far away!! The sides of Lakeridge can be steep and not well travelled. I could go east towards that Port club trail travelling back roads south of 21? Any advice or help would be great. Hi Joe and welcome to the PPSC forums, I see what your saying about being right in the middle. To hit any trails heading east you really have no choice other then to trailer a short distance, or ditch bang up Lakeridge and hit either PPSC #3 or #1, both of which are trails that require a good cold spell and substantial snow before we are able to open them (due to swamps and road side running). And the same to hit any HOO trails going north (rail bed) or the trail into Uxbridge. How familiar are you with the area Joe ?? Just wondering if you knew that some of the best early and late season riding in southern Ont, is east of the PPSC club house, E108 to Bewedly and all the Ganaraska trails are all forest access road trails with no swamps, so they are quite easy to get up and running.

Hi Rick, have a newer sled but no trailer.I have not had the chance to see Port's east trails. The morraine(and roads around&through) are sweet after a fresh snow. I lived on the ridge for 4 yrs after leaving the wilds of the big smoke behind. Not sure what I'll do about accessing the close by trails?
