P.E.T Ride 08 ....... come on out and be a part of Team PPSC
An estimated one in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer within their lifetime ............ how would you like to help be a part of the solution to the dreaded disease ?? And at the same time come out and share in the camaraderie of great ride, in an awesome area of the province, not too far from home .... with your fellow club members ?? Prostate Extreme Team Video www.prostateexremeteam.com There is a Team PPSC forming as we speak 8) Some of the riders we have so far, have expressed interest in riding up from Port Perry on the Friday, participating in the event on the Saturday and riding back home to Port Perry on the Sunday.... Personally I think this is a smashing idea, one we certainly will never forget. This is an awesome chance for a great adventure filled PPSC club saddle bag trip all in the name of a good cause. :D And for those not wishing to, or unable to ride up and back, we still have the all the fun and camaraderie of Saturdays P.E.T ride and apres events to share in :D The date of this years P.E.T ride is Saturday Febuary 16th, this falls upon the new long weekend "Family Day" so we still have Monday to rest our weary bones :lol: ........ or stay for another day of riding and ride home on Monday :twisted: The faster we can assemble everyone, the better the chance we have at getting perfered rates for our accomidations. interested........ for sure!!!! I all ready have a housekeeping cabin booked for us brother , right on the trail at Summerlea Resort :wink: that leaves two beds and a futon ..... Kev, Andy, Ken ?? Only two cabins left at Summerlea, my neigbor Joe and his family are booked at the Inn at Christie Mill, a little more upscale.

Good stuff boy's, I'm pretty sure Andy's in too ?? How does Picanya on the BBQ sound for Friday night ??? They have a small table top Weber BBQ on the deck of our cabin, for if we do ride up 8)

Sounds good.. are you going to pack on the sled and carry it up if we ride? also is there a beer liquor store up there or are we going to find a caboose for the bevy's :lol: Also i think Andy might have to drive up on Friday as i dont think work will give us BOTH the day off.. and i got senority so i am off first...

Sounds like I MAY be able to get it off, need further discussion, but it sounds possible so far....

:( Unfortunately... I won't be able to participate in 2008 as I'll be on my way to Daytona Beach FL to occupy my seats at the 50th running of the Daytona 500 stock car race. Yes.. I had a former life in warmer types of motor sports and spent several summers crewing , building and wheeling stock cars and old habits die hard!

GO JOHNSON for 3 peat in 08!!!!! GO TEAM 48!!!! We'll be sure to have a drink or 4 for you in the evening festivities, Larry!!! :lol:
