Fantastic turn out today, I think I stopped counting at around 20, but pretty sure the head count excided 25 :D You folks are truly awesome, and a perfect example of what sledding in Ontario needs most, volunteers, friendship, fun, commitment and getting what needs to be done .............done. Just under a klm of main top trail E108 re-route cleared, and ready for the excavator to pull the big stumps and flatten er out. Best of all it was done by a fantastic group of volunteers, in less then 4 hours.......... you guy's rock 8) 8)
Also special thanks to Martin from Snowmobiler Television (STV) for taking the time to come out and film such an important part of our sport. Martin informed me that some of what was filmed today will be available for viewing on their website at www.snowmobilertv.com as early as next week, then again on TV in January for STV's first episode of the 08 season. Another special thanks to all lovely volunteer ladies over at the Long Sault Ridge Runners Club House, for the wonderful BBQ lunch afterwards :P

Also one more special thanks to the hikers that made our day, by thanking us for volunteering our time to create and maintain the wonderfull trails they hike on in the off season. (as it is a road allowance seasonal multi use trail) Very nice to hear something so positive from another group that also enjoys the trail. :D

REVTECHss- 10-13-2007
Gotta agree - great day out there, and great we can cooperate with other clubs and work together on these large projects.
I'll also chime in with an extra thanks to Long Sault and there volunteers back at the clubhouse for hosting such an excellent lunch afterwards for us.
Was great to see such a good turnout from our own club when it wasn't even our trail, its nice to see the word getting out and more and more volunteers stepping up to lend a hand !!

Good on ya Boys, looks rewarding. I'm clearing brush and covering rocks the old fashion way on the trail into the cottage. If there's any work left after freeze up I'll get my ass out there.
Cheers
Some of you Boys sure make them orange vests look small.
